EHP superinfection with two celled parasite (Greragine) causes white feces syndrome, liver atrophy, and intestinal emptying in shrimp and treatment regimen

Currently, the EHP epidemic in shrimp is not only serious in terms of infection level but also more dangerous in the possibility of superinfection with many other pathogens, typically superinfection with 2-celled parasite (Greragine) causing white feces syndrome. White liver, atrophied liver, and empty intestines are extremely dangerous for farmed shrimp.

1. Cause of EHP superinfection of shrimp with 2 celled parasite (Greragine) causing white feces and intestinal atrophy.

EHP disease (Enterocytozoon hepatopenaei) is caused by EHP microspores, which parasitize in hepatopancreatic cells and take Shrimp nutrients through polar fibers. When EHP infects the ducts of the hepatopancreas, the cells slough off, thus affecting digestion and making it susceptible to infection with other pathogens.
White feces and intestinal atrophy in shrimp come from different causes such as: Greragine, Vibrio spp. bacteria group, toxic algae, weather fluctuations,... Some new scientific research (Rajendran et al., 2017 & Salachan et al., 2017) discovered and found that, when shrimp infected with EHP, white feces appeared mostly.

2. Symptoms of EHP superinfection with 2 celled parasite (Greragine), causing white feces syndrome, liver atrophy, and empty intestines.

Shrimp farmers can recognize EHP superinfection with two cells, white feces syndrome, liver atrophy, and empty intestines through the following signs:

  • Shrimp grow slowly, stunted, weak, and have uneven shrimp sizes.
  • Shrimp eat less or stop eating, shrimp intestines appear pale, broken, or have pus in the tail.
  • White excrement appears floating on the water surface or sticking to trees and shore walls.
  • Shrimp liver shows signs of swelling, pale yellow, and toughness.
  • Shrimp swims lethargic and dies scattered in the pond.

3. Measures to prevent EHP superinfection of two cells (Greragine) causing white feces syndrome, liver atrophy, and empty intestines.

To solve this danger, My Binh Company, we have researched a regimen to prevent EHP disease and prevent superinfection of 2-celled parasites. Two celled parasite that causes white feces, liver atrophy, and intestinal emptying in farmed shrimp are as follows:

* Step 1: Dispel parasites Dispel 2-cell parasites periodically every 7 - 10 days: Mix PROLIN (herbal drug) 5 - 7ml/kg of feed, feed 100% of the feed amount during the day, continuously for 2 days. Combine disinfection and fungicides in the pond with SUPER CLEAR or MB01 or BRONOL antibacterial and fungicidal products.

* Step 2: Daily disease prevention for farmed shrimp.  After removing parasites, farmers carry out daily disease prevention for shrimp as follows: SOREX (5g) + K-WE (10g) + EHP ROY (2g) feed 50% of the day's feed, 50 The remaining % of feed mixed with SOREX (5g) + LACTOZYME (10ml) + EHP ROY Combined with treating the water environment with O3 probiotics, NITRO 18 probiotics.

4. Advantages of applying the regimen to prevent EHP from superinfection with the two-celled parasite (Greragine) causing white feces syndrome, liver atrophy, and empty intestine:

The regimen completely uses herbs and biological products to replace antibiotics. Use high-potency probiotics to control the environment. Products that kill bacteria, fungi, and ectoparasites ensure safety for shrimp health even when shrimp are young. The regimen has been tested and successfully tested in ponds. Get tested and diagnosed for shrimp diseases for free at My Binh's lab in the regions. The technical support department will accompany you throughout the use process.

With the situation of EHP superinfection with two celled parasite (Greragine) causing white feces syndrome, liver atrophy, and intestinal emptying in shrimp becoming more and more complicated, the application of effective prevention and treatment regimen of My Binh company is a necessary and important solution. Hopefully, through these measures, shrimp farmers will be able to control and prevent diseases, ensuring sustainable development for the shrimp farming industry.
